Paper Cat

Paper Cat

Paper Cat is a macOS app that puts documents into one consistent shape. You select a folder or single files, choose a font and size, and the app applies the same formatting to all of them: justified text, line spacing 1.5, no extra space between paragraphs, margins of 2.5 cm. Headings are included and footnote sizes are preserved.

It also converts between formats: DOC to DOCX, TXT to DOCX, RTF to DOCX, PDF to DOCX and DOCX to PDF. File names stay the same, only the extension changes. You decide whether the original files are kept or moved to the Trash, and whether an existing file is replaced or both are kept.

When the work is done, the cat meows. You can switch the sound off.

The app works in English, German, French and Russian.

Everything happens on your own computer. The app works offline, collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere.
