Art Crow

Art Crow is a macOS app for artists and small galleries. It prepares and sends exhibition invitations, reminders and closing messages by email, and keeps the list of people who receive them.

You write the invitation once — artist, title, dates, venue, address, opening hours, links — and add the artwork image. The app lays out the email, shows you exactly how the recipient will see it, and sends it from your own email account. Invitations can be written and sent in English, German, French and Russian.

Recipients are taken from your own contact list. You can import contacts from the macOS Contacts app or from a file, group them, and exclude anyone you do not want to write to.

Sending with Gmail

If you choose to connect a Gmail account, Art Crow asks for one permission only: to send email on your behalf (gmail.send). The invitations are sent from your own address, so replies come back to you. The app cannot read, change or delete anything in your mailbox, and it does not request permission to do so. You can also connect any other email account over SMTP instead.

Your data

Contacts, texts and images stay on your own device. Sign-in tokens and passwords are kept in the macOS Keychain. There is no server behind the app, and the developer receives none of your data.
